PCOS- The Symptoms.

What Will Happen To Me?

The dreaded symptoms page has arrived. This is stuff you need to know though ladies, i'm afraid.

Please don't let this list get you down, having PCOS does not mean that you will suffer from all of these symptoms, or even any of them. If you're lucky enough not to, then good for you. If you do, then low self-esteem is inevitable, but ladies it isn't the end of the world, try new things and make changes to your lifestyle. The most important thing to do, is to love yourself for who you are, to help yourself by making change, and to not deal with this alone, seek help and support from people you love. Seek advice from people like PCOS local who will not turn their backs on you. Remember that You Are Not Alone!.

The List!

- Irregular periods and ovulation.

- Reduced fertility.

- You may suffer from acne.

- Weight gain, but lifestyle will greatly affect this.

- Unwanted hair (hirsutism)

- Loss or thinning of hair (alopecia)

- Mood changes, swings and depression.

 

Well, phew that was the dreaded list. It's not exactly a complete disaster. These symptoms can be dealt with, you can help yourself and others can help to. Please check out my treatments page.
